Close to 60% of plots have been sold in Kerzner Estate, a prime location at Leeukoppie in Hout Bay

Launched in October 2021, Kerzner Estate in Hout Bay has sold 28 of its 48 plots to a mix of international and local buyers. The 10ha eco-friendly estate is situated high up on the mountainside in one of the Cape’s most sought-after locations between Llandudno and Hout Bay. Situated next to the Table Mountain National Park with its many hiking trails, Kerzner Estate also offers beautiful views across the Atlantic Ocean and Chapman’s Peak.

A RARE OPPORTUNITY

“Installation of civils has been completed, four designer homes are built, with others in development, and construction of the gym and yoga pavilion is in progress and due for completion at the end of the year,” says Samantha Nel, Pam Golding Properties area manager for the Western Cape region.

The remaining available plots are all more than 1,000m² in size and are priced from R3.7m, including VAT, with no transfer duty payable.

“Plots of this size and in such scenic surroundings are very scarce, so this is a rare opportunity to build your dream home in one of the most desirable locations along this stretch of coast,” says Nel.

NATURE FIRST

The ethos of the Kerzner Estate at Leeukoppie is to at all times during development remain mindful of its natural location. Strict measures maintain and enhance the environmental beauty, including the removal of alien vegetation and replanting of indigenous fynbos.

The architectural guidelines emphasise luxury, sustainability and attention to the natural environment. Buyers undertake to complete construction of their homes within four years after purchase, and gardens must adhere to waterwise indigenous landscaping principles.

A CHOICE OF ARCHITECTS

A unique benefit here is that five of South Africa’s leading architectural firms have made themselves available to be commissioned in designing and building buyers’ homes – Craft of Architecture, Fabian and Make Architects, GAPP Architects, Metropolis and StudioMAS. Buyers negotiate with architects themselves when commissioning.
