The event drew significant interest from the legal fraternity and business community, with a guest list that included Western Cape Premier Alan Winde, legal professionals, media, and high-level government representatives.
Cape Town Collective founders Jeffrey Kleu and Josh Carey of the Klarey Property group, welcomed representatives from The Cape Bar, PABASA, AFSA, and numerous independent firms into the dedicated seventh-floor Legal Chambers space, designed exclusively for attorneys, advocates, and legal consultants. The event featured a keynote address by Tim Harris, former CEO of Wesgro and fresh from the launch of Cape Town’s Mission for Inner City Cape Town, with Councillor Ian McMahon also in attendance, reflecting strong public sector support for innovation in the legal industry.

CTC’s Unique Offering
Cape Town Collective (CTC) offers a premium serviced office environment tailored specifically to the legal sector, providing private offices, flexible workspace infrastructure, and virtual membership models. Located steps away from the Western Cape High Court, the facility offers secure, access-controlled offices and shared amenities designed for the demands of today’s legal professionals.
Co-founder Jeffrey Kleu explains: “CTC’s Legal Chambers fills a vital need: a centralised, professionally run office solution for independent practitioners and smaller firms who want proximity to court, without the admin headache and overhead of traditional offices. We’ve researched the pain points of the legal fraternity and solved them.”
Also in attendance was Cape Town and Miami-based urban contemporary artist Sonny Behan, who was commissioned by CTC to create two wall murals for the space.
Landmark legal workspace in a landmark development
Cape Town Collective is more than just a serviced office provider, it’s part of a growing movement to rejuvenate and reimagine Cape Town’s Central Business District. At the heart of this movement are private sector leaders like Tim Harris, through his work with the Mission for Inner City Cape Town (MICCT), and developers like Jeffrey Kleu, a member of the Cape Town Central City Improvement District (CCID), who is committed to uplifting the inner-city community. Cape Town Collective is a key part of this urban renewal, with the R140 million redevelopment project spanning an entire city block.
Each floor measures 1 200sqm, injecting substantial scale, quality and purpose into the area. The revitalisation of previously underutilised and heritage-rich buildings is not just a commercial venture; it’s a coordinated effort to make Cape Town’s CBD safer, more dynamic, and more inclusive. With Legal Chambers as a flagship example, CTC is helping transform the narrative of the Cape Town CBD, turning it into a place where professionals want to work, connect, and invest in the future.
The facility is located on the seventh floor of Wale Street Chambers and offers 60 private offices exclusively for legal use. Each office comes equipped with high-speed fibre (1 000mbps), state-of-the-art facial recognition security, backup power, VOIP telephone call answering services, high-volume printing, on-site showers and plenty of parking, ensuring that nothing gets in the way of a productive day.
