Construction begins on Rabie’s Cape Gate Crescent

Cape Gate Crescent, a new residential development by Rabie Property Group was handed over to Big Ben Construction on 4 June 2020.

“It’s been a long-term project for us, as we entered into a joint venture with Nedbank and acquired the land several years ago.” says Miguel Rodrigues, Director at Rabie. “We’ve commenced civils and construction will commence from July, with completion of the first phase projected for mid-2021 and final completion in 2022.  The development has been sold to a single purchaser, Invitation Homes, to add to their rental portfolio.”

Cape Gate Crescent, a secure complex, will comprise of 182 rental homes made up of low-rise apartment blocks featuring a choice of studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well as eight townhouses.  A communal swimming pool, braai area and ample green spaces will ensure many happy hours enjoyed outdoors.  Every home will incorporate modern finishes and Fibre-to-the-home for fast internet and DStv and with most homes featuring built-in braais.

The main entrance will be set-off from Belami Road, with a secondary residents’ entrance on the opposite side from Ridge Road. It is ideally located between several retail outlets including Cape Gate Lifestyle Centre, Cape Gate Makro and Cape Gate Shopping Centre as well as Mediclinic Cape Gate.
