Anahita Beau Champ is changing the face of residential accommodation in this part of the island by being incorporated into a government-approved Smart City Scheme (SCS), the first in the area. Established across 118ha of the former Deep River Beau Champ sugar factory site, Anahita Beau Champ offers high-quality residential property for purchase by foreigners. The adjacent Integrated Resort Scheme (IRS), Anahita Golf Resort, spans another 213ha, offering a well-established resort lifestyle with five-star hotels, restaurants, golf and spa that Anahita Beau Champ residents can access.
Developer Alteo Properties has been the driver behind the project, notably incorporating these schools that will make all the difference to families relocating here. This collaboration aligns perfectly with Anahita Beau Champ’s “SmartEst, HealthiEst, and GreenEst” vision, which aims to create a unique and inspiring learning environment where children can thrive. The news further enhances Anahita Beau Champ’s status as a premier residential destination.

According to Jeffery Hart, Head of CIPS: “There is no doubt that our expansion is about enriching our community. The new campus at Anahita Beau Champ will reflect our outstanding educational programs, teaching excellence, and administrative dedication. It embodies our core principles, beliefs, and the exceptional, personalised education that is the hallmark of CIPS. In addition, the new school will allow us to remain at the forefront of educational innovation and teaching excellence, enhancing our offerings to provide every child with the best possible learning experience. As we expand our operations, our commitment remains unchanged: we remain a small, community-focused school, where relationships and quality education are at the forefront of everything we do.”
For his part, Philippe Forget, Chairperson of Le Bocage International School, highlighted the bold educational approach adopted to prepare students for the real world:
“At Le Bocage, our teachers, who also act as coaches and mentors, are our drivers of change for the future. Indeed, we firmly believe in enabling our kids to become the critical thinkers and responsible citizens required for sustaining the world of tomorrow. With regard to our partnership with Alteo, we are delighted to be moving into a beautiful building in a unique environment with quality infrastructures and resources as we bring a brand that families can easily recognise.”
David Martial, CEO of Alteo Properties, shares his vision: “This partnership sits at the core of our business operations, as we have set ourselves the ultimate goal of making the east an everlasting place to live. It was essential for us to integrate a high-quality school in Anahita Beau Champ to offer residents access to essential services close by. Clavis not only has a solid reputation, but also shares values that are similar to our own, focusing on community, holistic growth, and development. As such, we are confident that it will provide a world-class experience for the young students who attend.”
Initially, an existing building within Anahita Beau Champ will be renovated to accommodate the students, and the school will begin by offering preprimary classes – including Pre-reception (three to four-year-olds), Reception (four to five-year-olds), and Year 1 (five to six-year-olds). Clavis International Primary School, which follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB/PYP), will also benefit from Anahita’s serene rural setting – a place of wellbeing and family life designed to simplify daily living.
