Off-plan sales for Spindle, a new 60m tall luxury residential building by Robert Silke & Partners, is about to launch in the Mother City.
Going up in the Church Square district, on the corner of Spin and Plein streets, Spindle will be an impressive tower-like structure with 16 storeys and only 13 sectional title units.
From the first to the fifth floors are full-floor office chambers for professionals, from the sixth to the eleventh floors are full-floor mansion apartments and from the twelfth to fifteenth floors are penthouse duplexes. There is no thirteenth floor.
Each unit will occupy its own complete floor, have its own lift lobby and enjoy private key-card lift access. The floors vary in size from 143m² to 150m² and the two duplex penthouses are 257m² and 280m² respectively.
All floors include at least two parking bays and more bays are available for purchase. Located opposite the Houses of Parliament, Spindle’s site has never experienced load-shedding, but it will nevertheless have its own solar and battery back-up system.
The area is home to many upmarket hospitality offerings including Peter Tempelhoff’s FYN Restaurant (ranked 37th in the world), Ramenhead and the five-star La Botessa Boutique Hotel.
It is within walking distance to the Cape High Court, the Magistrate’s Court, the Deeds Office and the Master of the High Court. The units are priced from about R10m each.
