Attacq Limited is committed to empowering SMEs through its collaboration with the Property Point programme.

Attacq Limited (“Attacq”), a leading South African Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), is proud to celebrate the latest cohort of graduates from the Property Point programme.

This initiative is a pioneering enterprise development programme designed to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by offering coaching, mentorship, business support, and networking opportunities. As a key partner, Attacq is committed to fostering sustainable growth and development within the property sector by promoting local economic growth and ensuring that SMEs are ready for corporate service delivery demands.

“It remains such an honour and privilege for Attacq to walk this transformative journey with the SME’s and to be a partner in creating an impact in our communities and the broader economy,” said Janine Palm, Social Executive at Attacq.

The impact of the two-year program is evident in its comprehensive approach, which combines rigorous business mentorship, individualized coaching from SME experts, targeted training across all critical business domains, and financial support where feasible. This year’s group, comprising of eight black owned businesses with 22% being women-owned, exemplifies the commitment to empowering Black South African entrepreneurs.

“The results speak volumes: the graduating class have jointly created 32 full-time equivalent jobs and received contracts totalling over twenty million rand. Such outcomes not only highlight the program’s success but also underscore its vital role in driving economic growth and fostering innovation within the Black South African business community,” added Palm.

Launched in 2014, the program has been a cornerstone of entrepreneurial development for a decade. Over this ten-year journey, it has catalysed the creation of 456 jobs, reflecting its enduring impact and commitment to fostering sustainable economic growth. This achievement underscores the program’s role in not only empowering Black South African businesses but also driving meaningful contributions to the broader economy.

Attacq’s collaboration with Property Point, reflects their contributions to long-term focussed industry transformation. Attacq has created an environment that enables SMEs to build long-term relationships in the industry. The programme will ensure that the future of the property sector is one of diversity, opportunity, and innovation.
