RoomKing is an exciting new app created to make room rental in the townships safe and easy.
Digital marketing agency DMN Creative collaborated with entrepreneur Modicai Mnculwane to develop RoomKing, an app that allows tenants and landlords of rooms in the townships to connect with each other on a safe platform.
“Our creative team worked tirelessly to ensure that RoomKing provides an intuitive and visually captivating experience for both landlords and tenants,” says DMN Creative co-founder and director Monique Liebisch. “By integrating innovative design elements and user-friendly features, we have fostered an inclusive platform that streamlines the rental process while putting the needs of our users at the forefront.”
Revolutionising the room rental market
Due to Mnculwane’s deep understanding of South Africa’s room rental market, he became aware of the lack of secure and reliable communication channels between tenants and landlords. His vision was to empower, uplift, and bridge the gap between these two parties in South Africa’s townships. The launch of RoomKing aims to revolutionise the room rental market by formalising and ensuring professionalism in the backroom business.
By effectively connecting landlords and tenants, RoomKing has laid the foundations for fostering a sense of unity and belonging within communities. Modicai’s vision to empower landlords in the room rental business was realised through the successful launch of RoomKing.
Platform that fosters trust
“RoomKing’s launchmarks a significant milestone for DMN Creative and reflects our commitment to leveraging technology for social impact,” says Dandre Liebisch, DMN Creative co-founder and director. “We believe everyone deserves access to safe and comfortable housing, and RoomKing will play a pivotal role in transforming the rental landscape in South African townships. Our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to create a platform that fosters trust, transparency, and equal opportunities for landlords and tenants alike.”
